Each puzzle includes a direction icon showing how words are hidden in that specific grid: horizontal, vertical, diagonal, or backwards. Simpler puzzles use fewer directions; more complex puzzles add more. Overall vocabulary is aimed at 3rd through 5th graders (Level 2-3).
