About the author
S.T. Lassal is the author and illustrator of several books on international sign language alphabets and supplementary workbooks for self-study.
Through Project FingerAlphabet, a pro bono publico project dedicated to making accurate sign language alphabet materials freely accessible, Lassal provides free downloadable alphabet charts for multiple international sign language alphabets. The project was nominated for the German Award for Civic Engagement.
All handshape illustrations were individually created and validated per alphabet by independent, recognized sign language experts from the respective countries. The ASL and DGS alphabets were additionally developed into professional sign language alphabet fonts.
